My name is Emelie Davies, and I am designer based in Merseyside, UK. My journey in graphic design began at the age of 18, but my passion for design has always been a part of me ever since I first discovered the possibilities of digital art through modern technology.

My primary design tool is Adobe Illustrator, which I rely on for the majority of my work. However, my design process also incorporates other software, including Adobe Photoshop and Procreate, to achieve the desired results. Furthermore, I utilise the web application Figma to creative interactive UX and UI designs that bring my ideas to life. 

I have been designing in Adobe Illustrator since 2017 so my expertise lies mainly in vector illustrations, SVG designs, logo design, and poster design. Vector graphics have been a cornerstone of my design work, allowing for scalability and precision in various applications, from logos to more complex illustrations.

In addition to Adobe Illustrator, I utilise other software to assist in various design projects. For instance, I use Cricut Design Space to transform my designs into physical assets whether that is by using vinyl to create tote bag illustrations or matte paper for stickers.

Furthermore, I manipulate images and create high-quality gradient images using Adobe Illustrator. My experience extends to Figma, a web-based application that allows me to bring my ideas to life. With Figma I have created a fully interactive application to showcase the possibilities of a n e-commerce mobile application of my own design.
